The Art in Careers Program
The Art is Careers project is designed to motivate and encourage youth who have a passion for art but are discouraged to develop their craft because they are unaware of how art can translate into a future career. The project consists of various workshops held throughout the school year after-school and a summer theater production program. Local artists and instructors provide hands-on art activities displaying how art is embedded in specific occupations.
- This program is offered to Portsmouth Residents at Brighton Elementary School on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4:30pm to 6:30pm

Learning Gardens
Our learning gardens support our youth by turning their school garden into an outdoor classroom. We partner with local school districts to maintain and grow a school garden where students engage in hands-on STEM projects in the garden monthly led by our team of Educators. The fruits and vegetables harvested from the gardens are used to make snacks for after school programs or to support families within the school.
